About the role
This role will start on May 21st at the earliest. For this role, you will need to have extensive client-facing communications experience, experience producing correspondence and reports and excellent research and analytical skills. In this role, you will plan and execute communications across multiple channels, write and edit content and analyse data to improve processes. 

Duties:

Lead on planning and executing professional communications across multiple channels to support the admissions testing process.
Write, edit, and proofread a range of materials—including emails, FAQs, reports, and online content—for internal and external audiences, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with University branding.
Respond to candidate and supporter queries, including sensitive cases related to access arrangements and special consideration, both online and in person at Outreach events.
Oversee communication activity logs, analyse data to inform process improvements, and support regular reporting on user activity and service performance.
Monitor and troubleshoot candidate registration and booking processes, escalating issues as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Represent the team in meetings with internal and external partners, manage special consideration requests, and line manage the communications assistant.

Selection criteria:


Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
Extensive client-facing communications experience.
Proven experience in producing correspondence and reports.
Excellent writing skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to communicate complex concepts to a non-specialist audience.
Excellent research and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and the ability to inspire the confidence of a range of stakeholders, from potential candidates to senior University staff.
