We are looking for an experienced and organised Personal Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Head of Development. This is a busy and varied role requiring excellent communication, discretion, and attention to detail.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 6-8 weeks with a pay rate of £16.92 per hour + holiday pay
Key Duties:
- Manage the Head of Development’s diary, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Coordinate donor visits, meetings, and prepare supporting materials and briefings
- Handle correspondence, emails, and calls, prioritising and responding as appropriate
- Liaise with senior University staff, College representatives, and donors
- Process expenses and credit card claims in line with financial procedures
- Prepare agendas, take minutes, and produce reports and correspondence to a high standard
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times
Selection Criteria:
- A-level education (or equivalent experience)
- Experience providing PA support in a complex organisation, ideally in higher education or fundraising
- Strong diary management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systems
- Discreet, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team
