We are looking for a well-organised and proactive HR Administrator to support HR operations, recruitment, and data management. The role involves handling confidential information, assisting staff and managers, and ensuring HR processes run smoothly.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £16.92 per hour + holiday pay
Key Duties:
- Advise staff and managers on routine HR queries, escalating or researching information where needed
- Coordinate probation reviews and support PDR, Reward & Recognition, and family-friendly processes
- Assist with updating HR procedures and generating HR reports (PeopleXD, TeamSeer)
- Support employee lifecycle processes, including changes, leavers, and redeployment coordination
- Maintain absence and leave records; issue employment references
- Provide general HR administrative support, including note-taking and project work
- Administer the full recruitment process via PeopleXD: create job ads, manage applicant communication, prepare paperwork, check compliance and right-to-work, and issue offer letters/contracts
- Support visa and immigration processes, liaising with the Staff Immigration Team
- Coordinate induction, maintain personnel files, and input new starter data
- Maintain accurate HR data, run monthly data checks, and produce reports
- Ensure GDPR compliance and secure management of HR records
- Support the renewal of staff access (cards, SSO, IT)
Selection Criteria:
- Educated to A Level or working towards CIPD Level 3
- Essential experience using PeopleXD
- Previous HR or complex administrative experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of employment law and HR processes
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise under pressure
- Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality
- Strong customer service focus and motivation to develop in HR
- Awareness of data protection and information security
