We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Chinese Speaking Trial Assistant to join the (Heart and Renal Studies Group) team on a 12-week temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills and fluency in Mandarin to support the delivery of an international clinical research study.
About the Role
Working as part of the study team, you will provide essential administrative support with a particular focus on maintaining the electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) for assigned regions. You will play a key role in ensuring study documentation is accurately reviewed, uploaded, and quality checked in both Mandarin and English, helping to maintain compliance with study requirements and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the (Heart and Renal Studies Group) team, with a focus on Trial Master File (eTMF) activities.
- Review and validate eTMF matrices, trackers, and associated records before documents are uploaded.
- Upload study documentation to the eTMF system in line with study requirements and agreed work trackers.
- Carry out quality control checks on study documents in both Mandarin and English to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with internal colleagues and regional teams to resolve document queries and support timely file completion.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies, risks, or outstanding issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain knowledge of study procedures, eTMF guidance, and information governance requirements.
- Provide general administrative support, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, and other duties as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Fluency in both written and spoken Mandarin and English.
- Excellent organisational, administrative, and data management experience.
- Previous experience in an administrative support role, ideally within a research, healthcare, or academic environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
