About the role

We are seeking a creative and organised Communications Coordinator to support the delivery of internal and external communications. The role combines content creation, digital communications, stakeholder coordination and event support to deliver engaging and consistent communications across multiple channels.

The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £18.80 per hour + holiday pay

Key Duties:

  • Draft, edit and proofread content for print, digital, web and social media channels
  • Support communications planning, content scheduling and delivery across multiple platforms
  • Update website, intranet and social media content
  • Identify potential stories and content opportunities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate production of promotional materials with designers, printers and suppliers
  • Maintain mailing lists and contact databases and coordinate targeted communications
  • Monitor communications performance using feedback, surveys and digital analytics
  • Support events, including venue research, catering and other logistical arrangements
  • Ensure communications comply with relevant branding and style guidelines
  • Manage routine communications enquiries and escalate where appropriate
  • Build effective relationships with colleagues, suppliers and external stakeholders

Selection Criteria:

  • Experience supporting print and digital communications activities
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Confident using digital, web and computer-based applications
  • Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of social media, digital communications and content management
  • Awareness of AI and emerging digital developments within communications
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities effectively
