About the role
 
Are you a highly organised and proactive individual with strong administrative skills? We are looking for a committed and experienced Executive Assistant & to join our team in supporting medical education and administration at the heart of our Clinical School starting late June 2025
 

You will provide dedicated Executive Assistant support to three senior members of staff:

  • The Director of Clinical Studies 

  • The Director of Graduate-entry Medical Studies 

  • The Head of Administration and Finance

Key responsibilities will include diary management, arranging meetings, handling correspondence, responding to student enquiries, and more.

You’ll also play a vital role in student administration, including preparing academic transcripts, handling prize distributions, and offering administrative support for initiatives in Public and Patient Involvement, Equality & Diversity, and Sustainable Healthcare in medical education.

This varied and rewarding role also includes reception duties in the afternoons, support for clinical exams and occasional cover for colleagues in finance or facilities.

Essential Criteria

We are seeking someone who can thrive in a busy academic environment, with the ability to manage a broad and varied workload efficiently and accurately. to be considered for this opportunity you MUST be able to demonstrate the following

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant

  • Strong numeracy skills and confidence with handling data

  • High computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel, and the willingness to learn new systems
