We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Events Assistant to provide logistical and administrative support for a half-day stakeholder event taking place in London on 15th July.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be part-time (10 hours p/w) for an initial duration of 8 weeks up until 31st July weeks with a pay rate of £18.43 per hour + holiday pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop event publicity, including registration pages, social media content, and visual materials
- Coordinate event logistics, liaising with venues, catering, and the event committee
- Manage RSVPs and communications with attendees
- Assist with meeting arrangements, take minutes, and support event material preparation
- Track budget and finance-related processes
- Attend and provide hands-on support at the London event (Monday 15th July)
- Draft a post-event internal report and a public-facing blog post
Selection Criteria:
- Proven ability to manage workload independently and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and creating engaging digital content
- Experience supporting events, including coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable working on both administrative tasks and creative outputs
- Available to attend the London event in person on 15th July
