We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Agile Programme Assistant to provide financial and operational support for an innovative, cross-departmental research programme. This is a key administrative role supporting project setup, financial tracking, and event coordination within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £16.57 per hour + holiday pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the set-up of four new Agile Sprint research projects by completing RPF3 forms and liaising with departments and Research Accounts to transfer funds from the central Agile budget.
- Assist with the closure of budget lines and help resolve related financial queries.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure all documentation is filed appropriately.
- Provide budget updates to the Programme Manager, including updating Agile’s financial dashboard and tracking expenditure using Oracle R12.
- Support the recovery of overhead income in collaboration with finance teams at Oxford Martin School (OMS) and partner departments.
- Assist with financial administration for Agile’s events and training activities: raising invoices and expenses through Oracle R12, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring all transactions adhere to OMS financial procedures.
- Coordinate logistics for community engagement and training events, including venue bookings and supplier communications.
Selection Criteria:
- Proven experience of post-award finance within the University of Oxford.
- Up-to-date training and hands-on experience using Oracle R12 and the University’s new-look RPF3 forms.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
