We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Donor Relations Coordinator to join our busy Advancement team. This pivotal role is responsible for managing a range of donor recognition and stewardship activities, helping to strengthen relationships with key supporters of the University.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £16.57 per hour + holiday pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage a variety of Donor Relations initiatives and contribute to major University events, including Encaenia and donor society meetings.
- Maintain and update donor lists for University publications and ensure timely and accurate donor acknowledgements.
- Support the planning and delivery of communications and printed materials for donor recognition.
- Respond to donor enquiries with professionalism and discretion, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Monitor pledge payments and liaise with fundraising teams to ensure records are up-to-date.
- Work closely with teams across development, marketing, events, and IT to ensure smooth operations and high standards of service.
- Assist in developing new initiatives to recognise donor loyalty and enhance donor engagement.
Selection Criteria:
- Strong educational background with experience in donor relations, client care, or high-level event management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities, with proven success in managing multiple priorities.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and CRM systems (experience with DARS is desirable).
- Discreet, tactful, and professional in handling sensitive information and senior-level interactions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across a range of stakeholders.
