We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Officer to support a wide range of financial processes within the department. The role includes monitoring and correcting GL transactional reports, posting journals and adjustments, raising AR invoices and SRF charging, and managing budgets for conferences, courses, and events.
The position is set to commence as soon as possible and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £16.92 per hour + holiday pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with monitoring GL transactional reporting for any errors and correct as required in line with budgets and
- Posting journals, account corrections and month end adjustments
- Raising of AR invoices; and SRF charging, including generating SRF invoicing data from our internal PPMS system and
- Processing budgets for conferences, courses and other events run by the department, including oversight of Online Store events.
- Day-to-day management of Finance SharePoint site, Finance Intranet and associated channels as required
- Assist with processing AP invoices, Bursary payments and expense claims, including assisting with and financial approval of expenses within the SAP system and external claims as required
- Assist with any other duties as agreed by the line manager and appropriate for the grade
Selection Criteria:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant work experience.
