We are seeking a proactive and well-organised Research Outreach Officer to coordinate the Centre’s outreach and research support activities. The role combines event coordination, digital systems management, and partnership support to enhance the impact and visibility of the Centre’s research and training programmes.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £16.92 per hour + holiday pay
Key Duties:
- Coordinate short courses and outreach activities, including registration, promotion, certification, and evaluation
- Manage digital systems to ensure efficient, compliant, and data-driven delivery of programmes
- Provide technical support for research operations, including the design and management of digital tools and survey instruments
- Develop and maintain automated, AI-enabled workflows to improve reporting and impact tracking (training provided)
- Support and document external partnerships, maintaining accurate records of outputs and funded collaborations in line with University standards
Selection Criteria:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proven experience using digital tools and platforms for data management, automation, or reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements, including GDPR and research integrity standards
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a professional, detail-oriented approach
