We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Development Administrator to support gift processing, donor stewardship, and administrative functions within the Development team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, managing processes, and supporting meaningful donor engagement.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £16.92 per hour + holiday pay
Key Duties
Financial Administration & Gift Processing (40%)
- Process gifts and pledges, liaising with Gift Registry and Finance to track cash, schedule invoices, and resolve discrepancies
- Send invoices and payment requests, track outstanding payments, and follow up with reminders when needed
- Keep donor records and DARS prospect plans accurate and up to date in collaboration with fundraisers
Stewardship & Event Support (40%)
- Draft and send donor thank-you letters; maintain thanking templates and recognition circle records
- Support donor stewardship activities, including events, visits, lectures, and scholarship-related engagements
- Assist with scholarship reports by building relationships with scholars and helping foster a sense of community
General Administration & Database Support (20%)
- Maintain accurate donor records in line with GDPR and PECR requirements
- Provide data entry and administrative support for the team, ensuring high standards of accuracy
- Maintain filing systems and support the Associate Director of Operations as required
- Attend events as a representative of the School
Selection Criteria
- Experience working with CRMs/databases (DARS desirable); strong IT skills including Excel and Word

- Experience in data management with the ability to collate, analyse, and present information clearly

- Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours events with notice
