We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Communication Officer to support the development and delivery of a cybersecurity education and awareness programme. This role focuses on communications, training coordination, stakeholder engagement and reporting to help strengthen organisational understanding of cybersecurity and information security practices.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £16.92 per hour + holiday pay
Key Duties:
- Develop and implement a communications plan to support cybersecurity awareness initiatives
- Coordinate and support delivery of cybersecurity training and awareness activities across the organisation
- Create communications content for digital channels including SharePoint, Teams and other platforms
- Promote the importance of cybersecurity education and support cultural change across the organisation
- Analyse training and phishing campaign results to identify areas for improvement
- Prepare reports on cybersecurity awareness activities and programme progress
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and adapt awareness strategies accordingly
- Produce analytics, statistics and reporting to support programme development and decision-making
- Attend relevant working groups and user meetings to support knowledge sharing and best practice
Selection Criteria:
- Experience in communications, training coordination or awareness programmes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience producing reports, analytics and programme insights
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Interest in cybersecurity and information security awareness
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and Microsoft Office applications
