We are seeking an experienced and highly organised HR Project Officer to lead the implementation of a Career Development Review (CDR) process for Researchers across the Division. This role will play a key part in configuring and embedding the ‘My Development’ module within PeopleXD, ensuring a smooth and effective rollout.
Please note: Candidates without demonstrable experience using PeopleXD will not be considered. This is an essential requirement.
Key Responsibilities

Review and familiarise yourself with existing guidance on the University intranet, particularly the ‘My Development’ module and its functionality.

Identify all Researchers within the Division and liaise with Heads of Administration and Finance to assign appropriate managers for career development reviews, maintaining accurate tracking via spreadsheets.

Configure and set up the ‘My Development’ module within PeopleXD, following detailed step-by-step guidance.

Develop and deliver training and guidance materials for both Researchers and their Managers, including facilitating training sessions and potentially creating web-based resources.

Design and implement an annual Career Development Review (CDR) process for Researchers, including producing clear internal guidance for HR colleagues.

Review current onboarding processes for Researchers and recommend improvements to ensure consistency and best practice across the Division.
Essential Criteria

Proven, hands-on experience with PeopleXD (essential – applications without this will not be considered).

Demonstrable project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple stages of delivery and meet deadlines.
