About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Cyber Security Delivery Support Officer to support the coordination and delivery of cyber security activities. The role focuses on tracking actions, supporting governance processes, preparing reports, and ensuring cyber security initiatives are delivered effectively.

The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £20.77 per hour + holiday pay

Key Duties:

  • Support coordination of cyber security activities, priorities and delivery plans
  • Maintain trackers, RAID logs and status updates for initiatives and remediation actions
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations and meeting materials
  • Track risks, issues, dependencies and actions, ensuring follow-up and closure
  • Support governance processes, including organising meetings, recording actions and monitoring progress
  • Coordinate inputs between stakeholders and central cyber security teams
  • Assist with implementation and tracking of cyber security policies and controls
  • Support audit and assurance activities by gathering evidence and maintaining records
  • Monitor and respond to security-related queries, escalations and follow-up actions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of plans, reports and stakeholder communications
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and ways of working
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to ensure delivery remains on track

Selection Criteria:

  • Experience in cyber security, IT, risk, compliance or project support roles
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Understanding of basic cyber security and governance concepts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High attention to detail and proactive approach
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Security+, CISMP, ISO 27001) desirable
