We are seeking a proactive and organised HR Administrator to support day-to-day HR operations and ongoing process improvement activities. This role combines administrative support, recruitment coordination, data management and policy-related work within a busy HR environment.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 6-12 weeks with a pay rate of £17.37 per hour + holiday pay
Key Duties:
- Provide general HR administrative support, maintaining records, files and trackers
- Assist with recruitment administration, including interview coordination and onboarding documentation
- Support probation processes by tracking review dates, preparing paperwork and following up with managers
- Help review and improve HR processes and support embedding new procedures
- Assist with updating HR policies, procedures and guidance documents
- Carry out fact-finding activities, gathering and analysing information from systems and documentation
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in processes and support improvements
- Prepare simple guidance materials, checklists and templates for staff and managers
- Support HR projects and additional administrative tasks as required
Selection Criteria:
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within HR or a people-focused role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Comfortable gathering information and analysing findings
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Flexible approach and willingness to support evolving priorities
