We are seeking an organised and student-focused Academic Office Assistant to support graduation and academic administration processes. This role involves managing student enquiries, maintaining records and providing efficient administrative support within a busy academic office.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £14.98 per hour + holiday pay
Key Duties:
- Manage the graduate inbox and respond to student enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Liaise with students to arrange graduation ceremony attendance and provide relevant information
- Use eVision to book students onto ceremonies and maintain accurate student records
- Produce transcripts, standard letters and official documentation
- Provide general administrative support for graduation processes and wider academic office activities
Selection Criteria:
- Previous administrative experience in an office or education environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling records and documentation
- Good IT skills, including databases and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach
