About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to lead the production of the 2026–2027 Class Profile Books for four prestigious postgraduate programmes

This assignment combines publication design, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and content development. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end production process, from gathering student information through to the design and delivery of professionally produced profile books.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced publication designer with strong editorial and project management skills to take ownership of a high-profile annual publication project. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating professional, engaging publications that showcase the achievements and backgrounds of postgraduate students across multiple programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, format and produce the Class Profile Books using Adobe InDesign.
  • Manage the information-gathering process, including drafting questionnaires, distributing them to students, collating responses, and sourcing photographs.
  • Draft and edit profile entries based on information provided by students.
  • Ensure all data is handled in accordance with relevant data protection and processing regulations.
  • Work closely with the Communications team to ensure all publications adhere to established branding and design guidelines.
  • Liaise with course administrators to maintain accurate student lists and encourage student participation throughout the process.
  • Coordinate multiple deadlines and ensure the timely delivery of all profile books.

Essential Selection Criteria

Adobe InDesign Expertise – Essential

Applicants must have strong and extensive knowledge and proven experience of using Adobe InDesign. This is a core requirement of the role. Candidates should be confident designing and producing professional, publication-quality documents and managing complex layouts independently. Applications from candidates without significant Adobe InDesign experience will not be considered.
