We are seeking a commercially minded and relationship-focused Business Development Executive to drive recruitment and revenue growth across executive degree and diploma programmes. This role combines business development, stakeholder engagement, recruitment, and partnership management within a dynamic educational environment.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £20.77 per hour + holiday pay
Key Duties:
- Recruit high-calibre applicants and contribute to programme revenue targets
- Manage the full recruitment and sales cycle, providing specialist programme advice to prospective candidates
- Promote programmes through presentations, networking, digital channels and recruitment events
- Contribute to recruitment and marketing strategies with internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with faculty, corporate partners, sponsors and alumni
- Support the development of corporate partnerships, sponsorship opportunities and scholarship initiatives
- Collaborate with recruitment, admissions, marketing and programme teams to maximise growth opportunities
- Represent programmes at national and international events, including candidate interviews
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform recruitment strategies
- Act as an ambassador for the organisation and support wider business development initiatives
Selection Criteria:
- Proven success in business development, recruitment or customer-facing roles
- Strong track record of achieving targets in performance-driven environments
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Experience building relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness and business understanding
- Experience working collaboratively across teams and functions
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Degree educated or equivalent professional qualification
- Experience within higher education, executive education, business schools or professional training environments (desirable)
