We are seeking a proactive and organised Licensing & Ventures Support Specialist to support the commercialisation of innovation by assisting with market research, stakeholder engagement, data management, and licensing processes, while helping to coordinate key documentation, manage enquiries, and contribute to the effective delivery of technology transfer activities.
The position is set to commence asap and will be full-time (40 hours per week) for 12 weeks (with a pay rate of £17.31 per hour + holiday pay).

- For the more advanced, using OUI AI tools to e.g. perform preliminary patent searches

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarise technical or complex information clearly for different audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in administrative coordination and process management, including handling multiple workflows, deadlines, and stakeholder inputs.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when working with formal documentation processes (e.g. contracts, compliance forms, or approval workflows such as KYC, IP documentation, or CDAs).
- Ability to manage and maintain structured datasets or systems (e.g. CRM systems, databases, or internal platforms such as ATLAS or equivalent).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and follow through on processes requiring sign-off from multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency with standard digital tools (e.g. Microsoft Office / Google Workspace), and confidence learning new internal systems and AI-enabled tools.
