About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Consultant to support our department in delivering two key initiatives: a Finance Tasks Review and the enhancement of LNAT (Law National Admissions Test) support processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with experience in finance operations, process improvement, and project delivery within complex organisations. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver agreed activities in support of the Faculty's Finance Tasks Review and LNAT projects.
  • Conduct meetings, interviews, workshops, and surveys with Faculty staff in accordance with project objectives and charters.
  • Map and analyse current finance-related processes delivered by student administration teams, identifying variations and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop clear process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidance materials, and process maps relating to LNAT support activities.
  • Produce a comprehensive report on Finance Tasks within the Faculty, in line with the project brief.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and project outputs to the project team and key stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of process improvement recommendations where appropriate.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong knowledge of finance processes within large and complex organisations.
  • Experience working within a collegiate university structure or similarly complex organisational environment.
  • Excellent project management experience, with the ability to plan, organise, and deliver multiple workstreams to deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and process-mapping capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, including conducting workshops and interviews.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and impactful reports for management audiences.
