We are looking for an organised and proactive HR Admin Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing administrative support, helping to deliver efficient HR services across onboarding, payroll administration, record management, and day-to-day HR operations.
The position is set to commence asap and will be full time (36.5 hours per week) for 12 weeks (with a pay rate of £14.98 per hour + holiday pay).
Main Duties
- Manage onboarding and pre-employment checks for new employees; including undertaking right to work checks and running onboarding reports
- Support with the monthly payroll changes; including generating letters and updating salary allocations
- Monitor the HR email shared inboxes, responding to emails relating to onboarding, payroll changes and other straight forward enquiries.
- Support in the management of the casual payroll, completing new starter set up and assisting with the processing of monthly claims for payment via payroll when required
- Support with record keeping and organising files.Subject to time available, this may include digitising manual personnel files and organising/deleted electronic folders (eg of old recruitments and leavers); updating spreadsheets and cross-checking staff lists.
- Other HR admin tasks as needed.
Selection Criteria:
- Experience of personnel administration/HR.
- Experience of using PeopleXD, if not, training may be provided if the work requires it.
- Experienced and confident in usage of other IT systems.
- Experience of working on confidential matters, displaying tact and discretion in your approach to this.
- Highly organised and ordered approach to work.
