We are seeking a commercially minded and customer-focused Programme Consultant to support the recruitment and engagement of participants for executive education programmes. This role combines business development, relationship management and consultative sales to guide prospective participants from initial enquiry through to enrolment and beyond.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £18.80 per hour + holiday pay
Key Duties:
- Act as the first point of contact for prospective participants, responding to programme enquiries and assessing suitability
- Conduct consultation calls to understand professional development needs and recommend appropriate programmes
- Guide applicants through the application process, conducting interviews and recommending outcomes where appropriate
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective participants throughout the sales journey
- Manage prospect and applicant records using Salesforce, tracking leads, communications and enrolments
- Monitor participant payments and maintain accurate programme records for delivery teams
- Promote executive education programmes through networking events, presentations and external engagements
- Use social media and other channels to generate and nurture new business opportunities
- Work closely with programme teams, faculty and stakeholders to support recruitment and participant engagement
- Build long-term relationships with participants to encourage referrals, repeat business and cross-selling opportunities
- Organise and attend recruitment events, following up leads to maximise conversion rates
- Resolve participant queries professionally and contribute to continuous improvement of the customer experience
Selection Criteria:
- Proven success in a customer-facing sales or business development role with experience achieving targets
- Experience building relationships and managing a consultative sales process with senior professionals
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for business growth
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evening events and international travel as required
