Are you an experienced web content or migration specialist with a strong background in website platforms and content management systems? An University of Oxford department is seeking a skilled Website Migration Support Officer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a major digital transition project, supporting the migration of websites from the University's outgoing Drupal 7-based platform (Mosaic) to its new Drupal 10-based platform (Fresco).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support website owners as they review and update their content following automated migration from Mosaic to Fresco.
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive Migration Toolkit, including guidance and training materials.
- Directly assist in updating and restructuring websites in Fresco to ensure they are fully migration-ready.
- Provide hands-on support, including screen sharing sessions and tailored guidance to site editors.
- Continuously improve the Migration Toolkit based on user feedback and common queries.
- Report bugs and suggest enhancements to the Fresco development team.
- Track site migration progress and report against project milestones.
- Deliver 1:1 training and host group workshops or drop-in sessions as needed.
About You:
- Proven experience in a similar website migration, support, or CMS-based role is essential.
- Proficiency with various website building platforms; previous experience with Drupal is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and guide users at various technical levels.
- A detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving and documentation.
