We are currently looking for a temporary Receptionist & Facilities Assistant to provide excellent customer service and assist with clerical duties at a centrally based Oxford University Department. The role will be full time for 12 weeks.
• Welcome visitors to the building and provide assistance as necessary, including directing them to the appropriate area and dealing with general queries
• Take incoming phone calls, answer queries and redirect these appropriately to extensions of offices in the building
• Manage access to the building, ensuring that only those with a legitimate reason for entering do so
• Update access profiles for the electronic door entry system, and manage keys for the building; liaise with colleagues over booking of rooms
• Maintain the tidiness and organisation of the reception area ensuring a smart professional image at the first point of contact
• Monitor and maintain stationery and refreshment supplies
• Clerical assistance (eg photocopying) for room-holders of the building, where time permits
