For the role you need proven admin experience in a complex environment and excellent IT skills.
Duties:
• Co-ordinate the review (and collection if applicable) of information and documents from
academic and administrative colleagues across the Faculty.
• Draft and send requests for information, monitor responses, and maintain accurate records.
• Manage shared folders, maintain version control, and ensure consistency across documents.
• Schedule and provide administrative support for internal meetings related to the review
process, including notetaking and tracking follow-up actions.
• Track and co-ordinate the Faculty’s engagement with the Divisional process, including
accessing material stored on the Review SharePoint site.
• Support the Faculty Review Steering Group and the Head of Operations in other tasks as
required to ensure timely completion of the review preparation.
• Assist with editing and formatting sections of the self-evaluation document and related
appendices, to ensure the SED is concise and reflects the priorities of the Faculty.
• Book rooms in the Faculty and ensure invitations have been distributed and accepted, and
refreshments and lunches booked of the panel on the day of the review
Selection criteria:
• Proven administrative experience in a busy or complex environment.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative, while also being an effective team member.
• Competence in standard IT applications (Microsoft 365, data tracking, document editing and
• formatting).
• Discretion, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively with academic and
• administrative colleagues at all levels.
