We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Support Assistant to join an innovative research team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful global research aimed at improving outcomes for children and families affected by adversity, poverty, and violence.
You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team within and beyond the University of Oxford, supporting a portfolio of studies focused on parenting interventions in low- and middle-income countries.
Key Responsibilities

Support the management and implementation of research on PLH digital parenting programmes

Assist with data cleaning, organisation, and the development of codebooks

Conduct statistical analyses (e.g., linear regression) and contribute to interpretation of findings

Maintain and manage research datasets efficiently

Prepare manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals

Contribute to donor reports and academic publications

Collaborate with an international research team across multiple projects

Undertake additional duties as directed by Dr Jamie Lachman
Selection Criteria
Essential
-
Master’s degree (or currently enrolled) in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences or public health)

Experience working on complex research projects, ideally in areas such as:

Experience in intervention research

Strong background in quantitative data collection and management

Proficiency in data cleaning and analysis using R or Stata
-
Demonstrated commitment to improving the lives of children affected by abuse and poverty

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including:
