About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Programme Officer to support the coordination and delivery of an international programme. The role focuses on application processing, stakeholder communication, logistics coordination, and supporting monitoring and evaluation activities.

The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £16.92 per hour + holiday pay

Key Duties:

Application Processing & Coordination

  • Prepare and share application packs with partners, highlighting key information and special circumstances
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and master spreadsheets
  • Track interview outcomes and matching decisions, coordinating with internal teams and partners
  • Draft and issue offer letters, ensuring timely return of signed documentation
  • Coordinate information flow between programme, operations and partner teams

Communications

  • Manage programme inbox and act as first point of contact for participants
  • Draft and send clear communications on programme logistics, timelines and expectations
  • Respond to routine queries and escalate complex issues as required

Logistics & Delivery Support

  • Liaise with relevant teams to coordinate stipends, travel arrangements and reimbursements
  • Support onboarding and initial check-ins with participants and host organisations

Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Support data collection activities, including surveys and stakeholder interviews
  • Assist in preparing and formatting evaluation tools and tracking responses

Selection Criteria:

  • Experience in programme, project or event coordination
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Experience maintaining tracking systems or databases
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, supportive approach
