We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Information Compliance Assistant to support the University’s Information Compliance Team for a period of 12 weeks initially but may be extended.
This varied role includes assisting with personal data breach handling, supporting projects and advisory work relating to data protection legislation, maintaining team records management systems, and providing administrative support. You will help respond to routine data protection enquiries, monitor regulatory developments, support policy and guidance projects, and maintain key tracking systems and booking tools.
About you:
You will have experience of data protection regulations and practices, strong IT skills (including Microsoft Office and SharePoint), and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be highly organised, analytical, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
