About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Programme Manager to oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of executive education programmes. This role combines programme management, stakeholder engagement, event delivery, financial oversight and student support within a fast-paced academic environment.

The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £18.80 per hour + holiday pay

Key Duties:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of programmes, including timetabling, assessments, inductions, events and programme completion
  • Coordinate module logistics in collaboration with faculty and academic planning teams
  • Organise speaker arrangements, coaching sessions and overseas module delivery
  • Support programme administration using University systems including Canvas, Oracle, Qualtrics and KX
  • Deliver high-quality student support and act as first point of contact for programme-related queries
  • Manage major programme events, including ceremonies and networking activities
  • Support student welfare, conduct and return-to-study processes
  • Build strong relationships with students, faculty, alumni and stakeholders
  • Monitor budgets, procurement and expenditure using Oracle financial systems
  • Analyse programme evaluation data and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support committee meetings and implementation of decisions
  • Supervise and support programme coordination staff where required
  • Deputise for senior colleagues when necessary

Selection Criteria:

  • Strong experience in programme, project or event management within higher education or professional environments
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage changing priorities
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with diverse and international audiences
  • Experience managing budgets and financial processes
  • Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using learning and financial systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
