We are looking for an organised and proactive administrator to support the delivery of sustainability initiatives, coordinating audits, stakeholder engagement activities, communications, and events while helping to promote best practice in sustainable research. This is a part time role for 22.5 hours p/w.
Duties:
• Coordinate and support the delivery of a laboratory sustainability accreditation programme, ensuring activities are completed within agreed timescales.
• Maintain accurate records, monitor participation, and track accreditation and audit outcomes.
• Organise and facilitate audits, providing guidance and feedback to support successful certification.
• Develop and update guidance, resources, and communications to promote engagement with sustainable research practices.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across a range of disciplines, providing support and encouraging participation.
• Support the delivery of events, workshops, and other engagement activities related to environmental sustainability initiatives.
Selection criteria:
• Experience of diary management and scheduling meetings
• Experience of organising meetings and taking minutes
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills and professional approach
• Proficiency in standard IT systems (e.g. Outlook, Word, Teams)
• Ability to work as part of a busy team
