About the role

We are seeking an organised and customer-focused HR Coordinator to support the delivery of a comprehensive HR service. This role provides end-to-end administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee records and HR systems, ensuring an efficient and professional experience for employees and managers.

The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £14.98 per hour + holiday pay

Key Duties:

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR enquiries, responding to queries by telephone, email and in person
  • Support employees throughout the employee lifecycle, providing administrative assistance where required
  • Coordinate recruitment administration, including preparing adverts, job descriptions, interview packs and candidate communications
  • Complete pre-employment checks, including right to work, occupational health and security screening
  • Manage work permit and immigration administration, liaising with relevant teams to ensure compliance
  • Support the setup of staff ID cards, IT access and building access permissions
  • Prepare HR documentation, including offer letters, contracts and contract extensions
  • Assist with monthly payroll processing and contractual changes, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in line with GDPR requirements
  • Support HR systems administration and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes

Selection Criteria:

  • Previous experience in an HR administration or HR coordination role
  • Excellent attention to detail, including accuracy when working with figures and data
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, using initiative to resolve issues
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
