About the role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Development Coordinator to provide administrative and coordination support across fundraising, donor engagement and stewardship activities. The role combines database management, donor communications, event coordination and general development administration to support high-quality donor care.

The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £16.92 per hour + holiday pay

Key Duties:

  • Provide administrative and coordination support for fundraising and donor engagement activities
  • Coordinate donor stewardship, acknowledgements and routine communications
  • Maintain accurate donor and prospect records within CRM and database systems
  • Produce reports, prospect lists, pipelines and other fundraising information
  • Support gift and pledge processing, liaising with relevant teams to ensure accurate completion
  • Provide first-line support on CRM processes and promote good data quality
  • Coordinate donor meetings, visits and events, including logistics, materials and follow-up actions
  • Draft correspondence, briefing materials and reports and undertake basic prospect research
  • Manage diaries, travel arrangements and scheduling for team members
  • Support improvements to administrative processes and provide cross-team cover during busy periods

Selection Criteria:

  • Experience in administration, fundraising support, project coordination or stakeholder-facing roles
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience maintaining records and using databases or CRM systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events or logistical arrangements
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to use initiative and resolve routine issues independently
  • High level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact and discretion
